Heahea!! (Welcome)
To Hui Lima Hana Elua, Hawaiian Club of North County San Diego.
Hui Lima Hana was first formed on Camp Pendalton CA. in the 1960's so Hawaiian wives and their families (Ohana) could stay in touch with other Hawaiian families on the base and surrounding areas while their husbands were overseas or fighting in the Vietnam Conflict.
In the 1970's as Hawaiian Marines started retiring and moving away and the club seemed to exist only at family parties and finally closed it's doors.
Here we are in 2013!!!
